In this series, Jason has a very special role and participation in Sookie’s life, but Sookie is not so proud of what his brother is doing. He is known for supervising a road crew during the day and in the night, he is known for bedding the women of Bon Temps. Not just that, many also feared him because he is the prime suspect in the murders of four women in the first season of the series and all four women have a connection to him.

When her beloved V-addict girlfriend, Amy, died, he thought that he was responsible for the murder. So, to ease his guilt, he then joined the Fellowship of the Sun, some sort of organization or an anti-vampire church who approve of what they believe to be his crime of killing fangbangers.
